Under the guidance of Professor Lin Haiying, the 2023 cohort of the Public Administration program at HAIC has launched an innovative practice course aimed at enhancing students' professional skills. By integrating cutting-edge AI teaching assistants and ESG simulation tools, the course breaks traditional classroom boundaries, providing students with a hands-on learning experience that bridges theory and practice.

The AI assistant offers real-time solutions to project challenges, supporting students throughout their practical learning journey. Meanwhile, the ESG simulation immerses students in a realistic chemical enterprise environment, allowing them to internalize knowledge through role-playing and operational exercises.

Students ventured beyond the classroom to conduct field research, focusing on "Green Pepper Industry Development" and "Barrier-free Travel." These projects enabled students to apply their knowledge to real-world issues, enhancing their professional capabilities and social responsibility.

On April 16, the "Qiong Jiao You Chan" team visited Hainan Xinghuida Modern Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd., led by alumni Huang Hao. The team explored sustainable white pepper processing techniques, gaining insights into the synergy between technology, enterprise, and society. They learned about the company's innovative steam softening and mechanical peeling process, which improves efficiency and reduces environmental impact.

From April 18-19, the "Heart Travel Together" team investigated barrier-free travel in Sanya. They assessed accessibility in tourist sites, experiencing firsthand the challenges faced by people with disabilities. Their findings highlighted areas for improvement in accessibility and service provision.

These practical experiences allowed students to apply ESG concepts and entrepreneurship methods in real-world settings, enhancing their observational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. The course not only reinforced classroom knowledge but also prepared students to translate their academic learning into practical action, fostering growth in real-world contexts.
