HAIC kicks off TikTok cross-border e-commerce live streaming training

The HNU-ASU International College, Hainan University (HAIC) has launched a specialized training program in collaboration with Hangzhou Humi Technology Co., Ltd., focusing on TikTok cross-border e-commerce live streaming. This initiative aims to integrate industry and education, equipping students with essential skills for the evolving digital trade landscape.

Spanning three months, the program is part of the "Industry Cognition Practice" course, featuring an opening ceremony, intensive offline training, online mentoring, and a concluding presentation. It emphasizes TikTok content e-commerce, covering foundational and advanced topics in TikTok e-commerce, short video creation, and overseas live streaming. Industry experts guide students through product selection, TikTok shop setup, viral video strategies, and live streaming operations, merging theoretical knowledge with practical insights.

The program includes immersive practical sessions where students simulate overseas e-commerce live streaming in teams. They engage in product selection, store setup, video content creation, and live interaction, applying their knowledge in realistic settings. This hands-on approach also fosters teamwork, cross-cultural communication, and adaptability.

Students have reported significant benefits, noting enhanced understanding of TikTok cross-border e-commerce and improved practical skills. They are optimistic and eager for the upcoming training phases.
