HAIC engages in collaborative talks with Hainan Tropical Rainforest National Park

On April 27, 2026, a delegation from the HNU-ASU International College, Hainan University (HAIC) visited the Hainan Tropical Rainforest National Park Management Bureau in Wuzhishan city for a focused discussion on collaborative development.

The meeting included key representatives from both HAIC and the management bureau, addressing core topics such as joint talent cultivation, natural education system development, implementation of concession management, community co-building and sharing, and regional planning enhancement.

During the talks, Deputy Director Mai Kuangyao and other leaders highlighted the progress in ecological protection, natural education, scientific monitoring, and large-scale educational activities like the "Rainforest Project." Vice Dean Li Ping then introduced HAIC's educational strengths and core resources. Vice Dean Zhang Fang shared insights from international practices in countries like the United States and Australia regarding national park concession management and natural education course development. Both parties expressed a commitment to establishing a regular communication mechanism and envisioned a collaborative future that integrates industry, academia, and research for mutual benefit.

This exchange significantly deepened mutual understanding and solidified a consensus for cooperation, laying a strong foundation for future collaboration and implementation of specific initiatives. Both sides aim to leverage their respective strengths and enhance coordinated efforts to support the internationalization and high-quality development of the Hainan Tropical Rainforest National Park. This meeting marks the beginning of a promising partnership aimed at achieving shared goals and fostering sustainable development.
