HNU-ASU International College and Hainan Institute of National Park forge partnership
On January 26, 2026, a collaboration meeting took place between the HNU-ASU International College of Hainan University and the Hainan Institute of National Park. The delegation from the institute, led by Director Song Xiqiang, was welcomed by Dean Wang Lin and key faculty members of HNU-ASU International College. This meeting followed Wang's visit to the institute in December 2025, highlighting the ongoing commitment to strengthening their partnership.

Wan extended a warm welcome to the delegation and praised the institute for its achievements in the development of Hainan National Park. She emphasized that this collaboration represents a significant opportunity to integrate international education, scientific research, and local development, providing a new platform for HNU-ASU International College to support the initiatives of the Hainan Free Trade Port and national parks.
Song highlighted the institute's strengths in research, resources, and international collaboration, expressing hope for joint efforts in faculty exchanges, data sharing, and collaborative projects to create a model for industry-academia-research innovation.
Both parties agreed on key areas of cooperation, including the joint establishment of the "Hainan National Park Protection and Development Key Laboratory," promoting international talent development and exchanges, organizing international training and conferences, and facilitating the establishment of international organization offices in Hainan. An action plan for immediate steps was also developed.

This meeting clarified the pathways and mechanisms for collaboration, marking the partnership's transition into the implementation phase. Both parties are committed to accelerating specific projects, contributing to the internationalization and sustainable development of Hainan National Park.
