HAITC organizes graduates for tree planting, campus tour
The HNU-ASU Joint International Tourism College of Hainan University (HAITC) organized some of this year’s graduates to participate in a tree planting and a tour on its Mission Hills campus on June 2.
The graduates visited the teaching buildings, during which they were provided with detailed explanations of the campus's construction progress and functional layout.
After the informative tour, students and faculty members collaborated in soil cultivation and irrigation. They planted tree saplings of lychee, wampee, mango, and other unique fruit trees native to Hainan. As they worked side by side, participants exchanged thoughts on campus construction, the future of the college, and personal development.
Graduates expressed their excitement, emphasizing that the Mission Hills campus is a crucial educational hub for the future development of the HAITC. They hope that the college, leveraging its high degree of internationalization and strengths in the tourism and hospitality industry, can achieve further success in cultivating global talents who excel in both theory and practice.
The event was led by Mission Hills Campus Management Committee Director Li Yanrong, HAITC Dean Wang Lin and CPC HAITC Committee Secretary He Yingmin.
