Fu Xuanguo meets with ASU team
Kelly Bricker, director of the Hainan University-Arizona State University Joint International Tourism College (HAITC), and Kathleen Andereck, director of the School of Community Resources and Development at Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions of Arizona State University (ASU), visited Hainan University (HNU) on May 29.

Fu Xuanguo, secretary of the CPC HNU committee, extended a warm welcome to the visiting team and introduced the recent achievements made by the university in campus building, disciplinary construction and social services, as well as its long-term development plans related to the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port.
He also talked about the university’s Mission Hills campus, and said he hopes to promote closer cooperation in Sino-foreign programs and talent training with ASU, strengthen exchanges in education and research, and work together to serve the construction and growth of the Hainan FTP.

Subsequent to her visit to the Mission Hills campus, Bricker expressed her confidence in the upcoming teaching activities on the new campus, and said she hopes Mission Hills will attract more global academic cooperation and train talents with international communication skills when it is put into use.
