HAITC holds faculty meeting
The HAITC held a faculty meeting on Nov 3 to plan arrangements for students' arrival. Dean Wang Lin, Party Secretary He Yingmin, Deputy Dean Li Ping and all school staff members attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Wang made a series of arrangements for welcoming and serving the students upon their arrival, especially the freshmen of 2022. She said that all functional departments should strengthen support for students' growth, reinforce inter-departmental coordination, and take advantage of the ongoing themed activity to improve administrative efficiency, solve various problems, and jointly promote the construction of innovative and international Sino-foreign cooperative schools.

He said at the meeting that all faculty members should study and implement the spirit of the 20th National CPC Congress, strengthen their sense of responsibility, and enhance departmental synergy to promote the high-quality development of the college. She added that more efforts should be made to guarantee alumni services and strengthen ties with alumni. She said that attaching importance to alumni-related work is a fine tradition of well-known universities at home and abroad and the development of the college is inseparable from the support of alumni in the new era.
Li spoke at the meeting that serving as a deputy dean of HAITC is not only a new stage of her career, but also a new way to serve the college. She said she will keep in mind the original mission with the tasks of educating and managing and pursuing common development with the college.

Representatives from the college’s departments expressed their views on the development of the college and the collaboration between various departments.
They said they will take the initiative to strengthen communication between departments in the follow-up process, forge ahead with high spirits and contribute to promoting the development of the college and Hainan University’s "Double First-Class" construction.
