HAITC and security department celebrate festivals

HAITC and Hainan University's security department held an activity themed “Double Celebration for Teachers' Day and Mid-Autumn Festival” on Sept 9 to create a festive and international atmosphere, enhance the sense of belonging and cohesion and build a diversified and harmonious campus.

The event was attended by officials of HNU and HAITC as well as faculty members from HAITC and the department.

Chen Mingbao, member of the standing committee of the CPC HNU committee, delivered a speech at the beginning of the activity. He extended warm greetings to faculty members. He voiced appreciation for the role that HAITC and the security department have played in establishing a harmonious campus and fostering students' abilities. He expected that the two departments will continue to make greater contributions to the development of HNU in the future.

Wang Lin, dean of HAITC, expressed her appreciation for the efforts and contributions the two departments have made over the years.

The Labor Union of HAITC designed a series of games for the event, including group and individual games. The coffee training room prepared mooncakes, cakes and other snacks, as well as various drinks. Guests, teachers and staff participated in the games and chatted, celebrating Mid-Autumn Festival.

HAITC holds annual Mid-Autumn Festival activities. This year' s activity facilitated cooperation between HAITC and the security department, and helped build bonds between Chinese and foreign teachers and staff members, paving the way for the future development and construction of HNU's “world-class disciplines” and internationalization.
