HAITC holds lecture on digital industry
Fu Guohua, vice-president of Hainan University (HNU), gave a lecture on digital economy and society at the HNU-ASU Joint International Tourism College at Hainan University (HAITC) on June 6.

Fu described his reasoning from agricultural and industrial society to digital society and talked about the essence of the digital industry which values algorithm innovation and calculation power. Fu said he believes the digital industry will move forward into the virtual space in the future.
He also encouraged students to make breakthroughs in algorithm, improve numeration capability and make innovations, emphasized the significance of the digital industry and explained the essential characteristics of digital society.

The lecture broadened students' knowledge and deepened their understanding of digital economy. By taking the course, they were inspired to make further efforts in their studies and internships.
