HAITC hosts graduation thesis poster exhibition

The HNU-ASU Joint International Tourism College at Hainan University (HAITC) held an undergraduate thesis poster exhibition on May 26 at the China Japan Friendship Exchange Center of Hainan University (HNU).

Attended by officials and faculty members from HNU and HAITC, and graduates, the event collected 67 posters from students in the tourism development and management, park and recreation management and public service and public policy majors.

The exhibition marked the start of HAITC graduation activities consisting of thesis defense, a graduation ceremony and a gala in the next three days.

Wang Lin, dean of HAITC, said the exhibition was elaborately arranged and planned. Scholars and experts were invited to review and mark students’ graduation works.

The poster exhibition, based on the industry-university-research integration mode, is an innovative undergraduate project as well as a crucial part of HAITC’s graduation activities, Wang said.

The exhibition also included an exchange session inviting experts from the China Southwest Architecture of the China Architecture Design and Research Group, NIO Hainan branch, Ping An Bank Haikou branch and Mission Hills Resort to share their work experiences.

Supported by HNU and people from all walks of life, the graduation exhibition demonstrated HAITC’s student-centered education philosophy, and was highly acclaimed.
