Chen Chen, a director and film producer at the Hainan Broadcasting Station, gave a lecture on activity planning at the HNU-ASU Joint International Tourism College at Hainan University (HAITC) on May 10.

The event attracted faculty members from the tourism development and management major and more than 100 students from the school.

Chen has published several writings, including Innovation and Opening up: New Opportunities Faced by the Hainan FTP, In Conclusion and Seeking the Most Beautiful Villages and Towns in Hainan.

He has also served as director of the public representative selection program for the Boao Forum for Asia, Hainan’s float video during the grand parade to mark the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 2020 Hainan Cross-Year Party and producer of several Hainan TV programs.

Chen lectured on event planning and organizing, types of events, the specific meanings and responsibilities of different parties in events and revenue realization.

By sharing his experience from an innovative perspective, Chen provided HAITC students with new insights into the exhibition industry.
