Updated: May 25, 2022

Ye Guangliang, member of the standing committee of the CPC Hainan University Committee and the university’s vice-president, led a team that visited the NIO Hainan branch and the Export-import Bank of China (CEXIM) on May 10.

The team included Wang Lin, dean of the HNU-ASU Joint International Tourism College, Hainan University (HAITC); He Yingmin, Party secretary of the CPC HAITC committee; and Party secretaries of three HNU colleges.

Ye explained HNU’s educational philosophy and expressed appreciation to the NIO and CEXIM for providing internship and employment opportunities for HNU students.

Enterprises and universities play a key role in training talents and serving the society, Ye said. HNU seeks to improve its talent cultivation system and deliver qualified personnel for enterprises’ development.

HNU will establish a mechanism to visit enterprises and expand employment channels for achieving mutual development and win-win results, Ye said.

Wang Zhijuan, general manager of NIO’s Hainan branch, told the team that the company plans to set up four NIO showrooms and offer 200 positions in Hainan in two years. NIO will also launch a Sparks management trainee project geared toward HNU graduates and provide them with a more complete cultivation system.
