Jinzhao Academy at Hainan University (HNU) held a meeting on April 14 for work deployment and exchanges among student advisors. The meeting was chaired by Wang Yuanlu, deputy Party secretary of the CPC Jinzhao committee.

Wang interpreted HNU’s implementation plan on academy system reform and the Party building work, called on staff members to work toward the development of the academy, urged them to focus on students’ core problems in talent training and stressed that student advisors should take multiple measures to modernize the governance of the academy and Jinzhao culture.

Liu Lili, another deputy Party secretary of the CPC Jinzhao committee, said staff members should follow the original aspiration of the academy system, strengthen ideological and political education and innovate the academy with its own characteristics.

Jin Sheng, a senior student advisor, noted academy system reform is one of the important measures taken by HNU to explore its management mode and cultivate well-rounded talents. All staff members should promote HNU to be a world-class university, said Jin.

Student advisors exchanged views on their recent work. The meeting also announced the work arrangement in the next phase.
