A keynote speech will be given at Tin Ka Ping Hall and the live broadcast can be viewed on the school’s Douyin and Bilibili accounts. The HAITC's dean will explain the college’s teaching, scientific research, international cooperation, and campus life.
Open Day activities will include a carnival with student associations offering wonderful performances. Model United Nations, characteristic psychological counseling, voluntary activities, multicultural experience, as well as drama and dancing performances will show the unique charm of campus life. HAITC Coffee will also provide guests with refreshments.
HAITC plays a key role in facilitating China's opening-up and boosting the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port (FTP) and Hainan University's international management. It is Hainan's first Sino-foreign cooperative institution.
The college has three undergraduate majors of Tourism Development and Management, Park and Recreation Management, and Public Service and Public Policy. It has two postgraduate majors of Tourism Management and Public Administration. It will gradually build itself into a Sino-foreign cooperative institution with a bachelor-master-doctoral training system, emphasizing both teaching and scientific research.

HAITC integrates Eastern and Western educational concepts, highlights international, innovative, and interdisciplinary characteristics, and adopts the training model of "dual degrees", "dual status" and "4+0" to serve the development of the FTP and HNU's "double first-class construction". The college is striving to cultivate industry leaders who are familiar with international rules, cross-cultural communication capabilities and international competitiveness.

Over the past five years, HAITC’s influence has continuously improved and the university has become a model for international education in Hainan province. Several provincial and state leaders have visited HAITC since its establishment. The first Hainan International Model United Nations Conference held by the college received a congratulatory letter from UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres. James Levy, former consul general of the United States in Guangzhou, sent a handwritten letter, highly praising the effectiveness of HAITC.
