In cerebration of International Women's Day the HNU-ASU Joint International Tourism College of Hainan University (HAITC) held a flower-arranging workshop on March 7 in Haikou, Hainan province.

Following a general explanation by a florist of flower selection, as well as the art, techniques and tips of flower arrangement, teachers cut stems, removed leaves, pruned branches, put the flowers in vases and secured them in place. Their works were praised by the florist.

The workshop aimed to increase cross-sector interaction, as well as enrich the lives and further spark the working enthusiasm of female teachers at HAITC.
