HAITC Family Day held
HNU-ASU Joint International Tourism College of Hainan University (HAITC) held its Family Day meeting online and offline on Feb 26 to strengthen family-school partnerships and enhance communication between parents and students.

The meeting focused on students’ mental health and gave suggestions for parents to communicate with their children. During a Q&A session, teacher representatives talked about students’ growth and further development, helping them better adapt to college life.

ASU and HAITC attached great importance to this meeting. HAITC Family Day is an innovative development in home-school partnerships among Sino-foreign cooperative programs that has strengthened ties between parents and universities, enhanced communication and laid a solid foundation for cultivating well-rounded talents.
The event was attended by school representatives, including Wang Lin, dean of HAITC, He Yingmin, Party secretary of the CPC HAITC committee, Cynthia Lietz, dean of the Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions at Arizona State University (ASU), Kelly Bricker, director of HAITC, experts from the psychological center at the college, and students and parents of the 2021 class.
