HAITCers attend Tourism Tribune China Tourism Research Annual Conference 2021

The Tourism Tribune China Tourism Research Annual Conference 2021 was held in Shanghai from Nov 11 to 14. 

With the theme “tourism and tourism research: new stage, new philosophy and new pattern”, the conference attracted experts and scholars nationwide to share opinions on cutting-edge theories in the field and the practice of China’s tourism in the new era and explore the future development path of China’s tourism industry and discipline.

The Tourism Tribune China Tourism Research Annual Conference 2021 is held in Shanghai from Nov 11 to 14.

Representatives from the HNU-ASU Joint International Tourism College of Hainan University (HAITC) attended the conference. 

Teacher representative Xiao Xiao and student representative Li Peizhe delivered speeches titled “Climate Adaptation Optimization for Multi-type Cultural Heritages in National Parks” and “Preserving Cultural Heritages Under the Changing Climate: Future Adaptation to Resilience” at a sub-forum on heritage protection and heritage tourism, where they shared opinions with scholars and experts.

Teacher representative Xu Yuhua spoke on the topic “A Framework of Resilience for Peer-to-Peer Accommodation Hosts under COVID-19” at a sub-forum on tourism big data prediction and decisions, and exchanged views with Liang Sai from Nankai University.

Student representative Liu Shuxu shared her ongoing studies “A Roadmap of Hotel Resilience under the Impact of the Covid-19 Epidemic” at a sub-forum on frontier and innovation of tourism economic theory.

The conference provided a platform for HAITCers to display their scientific research achievements and fueled academic exchanges. 

HAITC will continue to strengthen discipline upgrading and scientific research, serve the construction of world-class disciplines in Hainan University, and strive to achieve fruitful results on high-level academic research platforms at home and abroad.
