A national training demonstration program for new college student Party members guided by the Organization Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the Ministry of Education (MOE) was held by the Organization Department of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee in Hunan’s Shaoshan city from July 19 to 23.

The event was attended by 159 persons, including new Party member representatives from colleges directly managed by the CPC Central Committee, others from universities directly under the MOE and institutions jointly built by the MOE and certain provincial governments, as well as staff from the Party construction office of the education department of provincial, district and municipal Party committees.

Fang Mengwei, a 2018 undergraduate of HNU-ASU Joint International Tourism College, Hainan University (HAITC), participated in the training course as the only representative of universities in Hainan. Fang shared her story of joining the Party at the class, and was later interviewed by Hunan TV Station.
