HAITC student praised by HIBC

The Hainan International Business Council (HIBC) sent a commendatory letter to the HNU-ASU Joint International Tourism College, Hainan University (HAITC), to give a special praise to the school's 2017 student Chu Lixin for his excellent performance during his internship in HIBC.

In December 2020 Chu began working as an intern at the Information and Publicity Department of HIBC, where he was mainly responsible for the operation and management of new media accounts.

With his efforts, the followers of the "Invest in Hainan" WeChat official account have increased over 45%. The number of views on the official website of "Invest in Hainan" increased over 31%. The content he edited was quoted by a world-renowned media, the New York Times, making outstanding contributions to the external publicity of the Hainan Free Trade Port (FTP).

Chu, an undergraduate student and a Party member, enrolled in HAITC in 2017 majoring in public administration. He has excellent academic performance and has ranked first among all students in that major for three consecutive years.

He has won various kinds of scholarships issued by Hainan University, and has ranked in the Dean's List of Watt's College in Arizona State University a foreign cooperative university of HAITC. He has been recommended for admission to a university included in China’s “Double First-Class”and "Project 985" for further study.

HAITC is proud of the outstanding performance of Chu in his internship and is committed to cultivating more talents to serve the construction of the Hainan FTP.
