Jia explained relevant macro-level knowledge pertaining to the overall urban layout, the micro-level urban block morphology and the vertical landscape perspective of urban height and skyline formation.
He concluded that current planning and management on urban morphology are chaotic. There is a long way to go in the reshaping of planning ideas and methods for urban morphology.
