Dr. Kathy Yang received her doctorate in public administration from Hamline University; she has won the Oxford Brookes University Scholarship and the John Wesley Trustee Award. She is mainly engaged in the comparative study of public management in China and the United States, including social capital and civil society, the transformation of government functions, democratic construction and higher education. From 2012 to 2017, she was continuously selected as an Opportunity Nation Scholar. She has rich work experience in the US government, non-profit organizations and universities.
