Dr. Gyan Nyaupane

Research directions: eco-tourism, sustainable tourism and heritage tourism and heritage and environmental protection.
Dr. Nyaupane graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a PhD in leisure, parks and tourism management. Previously, he received a master's degree in leisure, parks and tourism management from Lincoln University in New Zealand and a bachelor's degree in forestry from Nepal Forestry University.
He is currently a member of the International Travel Association's board of directors and an associate professor of community resources and development at the College of Public Service and Community Solutions at Arizona State University.
He mainly studies the relationship between tourists and natural and cultural landscapes, as well as eco-tourism and heritage tourism. His main article is Analysis of World Cultural Heritage and Tourism Development from a Regional Perspective.
