Humanistic planning workshop of Hainan’s ancient village

The HNU-ASU Joint International Tourism College (HAITC) invited Dennis Nikolaev, a registered American architect, Yang Mei, a building quality expert in Hainan Province, and Ji Zhiwei, a national first-level registered architect, to hold a five-day event for the students of the college (40 class hours in total) from Jan 5 to 9, 2020. 

The event is about the humanistic planning workshop for the revival of Luoyi Village in Hainan based on CAD technology. The students who participated in the workshop experienced the mapping of aeromodelling, VR and other technologies in design and planning. They also visited Luoyi Ancient Village and Xiuli Homestay, and learned the basic techniques of CAD drawing and the operation of AutoCAD software.
